What is the Kenek account?

The Kenek account maintains your activation details. You create an account through the Kenek Edge and Kenek O2 apps during the activation process. It is free and easy.

What is Activation?

Activation enables the Kenek app and sensor to work together.

On the current Kenek Edge app (v2.3 and later), the sensor is automatically detected and activated when it is first plugged in.  Previous versions required a QR code to be scanned.

I received an “Error unknown email” message.

This message is shown when there is an attempt to sign in to an account that does not exist. Select “Create Account” to proceed with activation.

I received an “Error incorrect password” message.

This message is shown when the user name and password do not match. Try entering your email and password again. If the problem persists, reset your password with the with the “Forgot your password?” option in the app.

I received an “Error signup failed. Email already exists in our database:” message.

This message is shown when creating a new account with an email address already associated with a Kenek account.

I received an “Error another user has activated this key” message.

The Activation Code is valid for one Kenek account. If this is your second activation, make sure you are using the same email address as the initial activation. Please contact support if you continue to receive this error.

The Activation Code is not scanning.

If the Kenek Edge app requests a QR code, you should update to the latest version of Kenek Edge.  QR codes are no longer used with Kenek Edge.

What permissions do Kenek apps require?

Microphone access is required to operate the sensor.

Camera access is required to read the Activation Code.

Optional  HealthKit access requires HealthKit permissions for both reading and writing.
