Increase VolumeThe Kenek sensor requires maximum volume to operate correctly. Plug the sensor into the audio port on the device and increase the volume using the controls on the left side of the mobile phone or tablet.




Remove Power The Kenek sensor doesn’t require any external power. Unplug all power and data connections to the mobile device before using the sensor.




Insert SensorThe Kenek sensor is not connected to the mobile device. Ensure the sensor is inserted completely in the audio port of the device. Ensure there are no splitters or cable extenders between the mobile device and the sensor.


Remove headsetThe Kenek sensor is not connected to the mobile device. Review the troubleshooting section if this condition persists.




Insert Finger - There is no finger detected in the sensor clip. Ensure a finger is fully inserted into the clip and resting against the stop at the end. Open the clip and reset the finger if the problem persists.




Low SignalThe Kenek sensor is not receiving a strong signal. Select a different finger, preferably without nail polish or bruising. Ensure there are no audio extension cables between the sensor and the mobile device. Review the troubleshooting section if this condition persists.

Check Settings-->Music under Playback (EQ and Volume Limit = OFF) and Settings-->General-->Accessibility under Hearing (Mono Audio = OFF, slider in middle between L and R) and Settings-->Privacy-->Microphone (Kenek Edge = ON).


Refining SignalThe Kenek app is collecting and refining the information from the sensor. A measurement will be produced in a few seconds. Review the troubleshooting section if this condition persists.
